Touring Batam Island to Celebrate Chinese New Year 2017

On the eve of Chinese New year of 2017, employees of Jordans Elevator (S) PTE Ltd and Lu Ban International (M) Sdn Bhd were organized for a tour to Batam Island of Indonesia to celebrate the advent of Chinese New Year of 2017.

On the morning of January 27, 2017 (the eve of Chinese New Year of 2017), employees of 2 groups headed for the Island by ship from ports in Singapore and Johor Bahru. The sightseeing celebration started as the people reached the destination after one hour’s navigation.

It’s almost lunch time as they arrived. They had buffet in Golden Prawn Restaurant. Mr. Deng, President of the company, delivered his wish and blessing and handed out red packets (specially designed red envelope with money inside as gift) to the participants. After lunch, they checked in in Turi Holiday Hotel and started free activities as they liked. People were involved in all kinds of entertainment such as watching the landscape, chatting, swimming, playing cards and beach volleyball…with Barbeque and drinks for supper, everybody enjoyed themselves by the delicacy and various activities on the Island with leisure and pleasure.

The next day, joy of the tour continued until they checked out in the afternoon. After they returned home in the evening, they had another rich dinners respectively in Singapore and Johor Bahru. Celebration of Chinese New Year of 2017 drew its curtain in joyous atmosphere.

Many employees had a special and unforgettable Chinese New year abroad as they toured Batam Island. This tour not only broadens their eyesight, enriches their experience of life, but also makes them even more cohesive and united, thus illustrating the company’s culture and people-oriented norms.
